Checking and keeping up with all three scores can be time consuming and difficult to keep track of, but it is worth the trouble. Knowing where one agency may have an error on file that the others do not can go a long way to repairing your credit.

The other major source for credit score inquiries is annualcreditreport.com. They offer a report on all three agencies and are recommended by the United States government. The ability to check based on all three reports is quite helpful. It is a huge time-saver. Doing it this way will help save time, but may make it harder for some people to identify issues with one specific agency when looking at all three graphed out for them. It depends on the organizational style of the person to find what works best for them.

Doing all of this and taking steps to fix any problems that arise will put you on the right track and help you repair any damage to your credit that may have come about. Whether by error or your own doing, problems with your credit are always something to be taken care of as soon as you can before you turn a smaller problem into a bigger one. Previously, we looked at things that could improve the value of your home. There are also many things which can hurt your chances of selling your home and/or getting the price you want for it. These things can range from easy fixes to things that are completely beyond your control. Knowing what factors negatively affect your chances of selling your home and what you can do about them will give you an edge if you act on these problems accordingly. Knowledge is not only power, in this case, it can also be money in your hand. These are ten factors that make selling a home harder, and what, if anything, you can do about it.

10. Pet Hair or Odor

Potential home buyers can be very shallow people. Many do not care how much you love your dog or cat. If there is hair everywhere from your furry friends, people can and will be turned off by it.
